Dedicated to encouraging creative reuse of recycled materials and to bring art into everything we do.


The brainchild of Board members Deborah Landry and Jan Stewart, Imagination Resource and Reuse Center is a hub for donated materials that are redistributed for creative reuse. It is a non-profit part of the Chesterton Art Center. all the materials are donated and priced at a deep discount. The Center is open to the public and offers a 50% off discount to all members. Lesson plans are avialable for teachers, as well as Teaching Artist Programs and Club and Home Schooling Workshops.

You can help by donating your unwanted items.
Donations Requested:

· Office supplies– tape-staples-pens, etc.

· All types of paper, drawing, maps, poster board, old  
  postcards  …

· Plastic– vinyl records, bottle caps, pill bottles, film 
  canisters …

· Metal– tops off frozen juice, tins, old keys, wire,  
  cookie cutters, nails screws…

· Glass and Ceramic– tiles, mirror, stained glass, clay
  glazes, baby food jars…

· Craft items– rubberstamps, cork, crayons, markers,
  art paints, paint brushes

· Artist Supplies– any and all

·  Paper tubes of any type, paper towel, toilet paper …
