INDIANA’S CREATIVE INDUSTRY BLOSSOMS
According to a national survey, the number of arts-related businesses and arts employment both increased in 2007.
The latest findings of the Creative Industries report was jointly announced by the Indiana Arts Commission (IAC) and the Indiana Coalition for the Arts (INCA) during the annual Arts Day at the State House program. The report, compiled by the national arts advocacy organization, Americans for the Arts (AFTA) revealed there were a total of 8,905 arts-related businesses from 2006 to 2007, and a growth of 4,650 full-time jobs the same period.
