"You've Got Mail!"
Each child will create their own designed mail box, and an acrylic painting.
Fourth Session begins July 19-22
Chinese Brush Painting and Tie-Dye
Class will be taught Sumie techniques, watercolor painting, and tie-dye a t-shirt.
Fifth Session begins July 26-29
Magical Mix and Advanced Tie-Dye
We will be exploring art from many sides: Painting, drawing, and tie-dye a t-shirt, too!

"Turning Timbers"
Larry Jensen, 2009 Artist-in-Residence at the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore, has created 41 sculptural works with trees indigenous to the region."Many of us recognize trees from the bark, leaves and twigs. But the soul of the tree, the heartwood and sapwood, reveals the life and sometimes the struggle of a tree."
Larry has also published a book with photos of all 41 pieces, text by Joan Engel, and a picture of a leaf from each tree to create a complete educational work.The opening reception is Sunday, July 11 from 2 pm to 4 pm with a gallery talk at 3 pm.
