The Chesterton Art Center will host the Area Artists Association’s exhibit titled “Poetry Without Words” starting with an Opening Reception on Sunday, February 5 from 2-4 p.m. The Area Artists Association is an organization within the Jack and Shirley Lubeznik Center for the Arts. Its purpose is to recognize and encourage active regional artists by providing exhibit opportunities and a supportive environment for juried members to explore topics of mutual interest at regular monthly meetings.
The Area Artists Association will display their 2-D and 3-D work in “Poetry Without Words”, which will begin on February 5 and will hang at the Chesterton Art Center through the month of February. Guests are invited to attend the Opening Reception on Sunday, the 5th from 2-4 for an opportunity to chat with the artists while enjoying a variety of treats and beverages. This is a free event and open to the public.
The Chesterton Art Center is located at 115 S. 4th St., Chesterton, IN 46304. The hours are weekdays from 11-4, and Saturdays from 10-2.
