Stephanie Swanson:

Stephanie has been in the retail jewelry trade since 1992 as a bench jeweler and custom designer. Fine Arts is her background and her passion. She knows that her trade experience has greatly influenced her art jewelry in that she pays attention to small details and works tight.

Stephanie enjoys knowing that she created each piece by hand utilizing her knowledge of craftsmanship, fine materials, and their unique properties. Sterling silver, gold, natural gemstones, art glass, beach glass and roman coins are what she works with for her creations. Stephanie does take commissions, but mostly focuses on selling her own pieces and is constantly working toward new techniques and appealing designs.

Recently Stephanie has started doing home shows and fundraisers. She strives to have the stones tell their story and usually designs around the materials she is using rather than starting with a design and then choosing materials. Jewelry is a very personal statement for the wearer and Stephanie hopes her work implies strength, the unique and enduring beauty.
