Join us for a 12-week journey through The Artist’s Way by Julia Cameron.
Deb Armstrong, in partnership with the Chesterton Art Center, will lead a group through the Julia Cameron book titled, “The Artist’s Way”. This free 12-week event is designed as an opportunity to explore this famous book. The Artist’s Way is described as a self-help book written to help people with artistic creative recovery. It teaches techniques and exercises designed to assist people in gaining self-confidence, by harnessing their creative talents and skills.
Deb comments, “Have you ever wanted to live a more creative life? Even if you can’t draw a stick figure, we are all creative in our own way. We were created to create! Join us for weekly drop-in sessions to share how this book can open up our view of creativity, and how it is an integral part of our daily lives.”
The format of this event is (12) 1-hour meetings on Thursday nights from 7-8 following the chapters of The Artist’s Way. Attendees are encouraged to have a copy of the book. While this is a free event, participants must register. A link will be sent before the start of the virtual meeting. Participants are not required to attend all (12) sessions, but instead can drop in when convenient.
