AGES: Adults, 18+

DESCRIPTION: With guidance from Laurel Izard, this introductory workshop will explore the basics of embroidery and how the repetitive process of stitching can promote a mindful practice. Students will work with a series of embroidery stitches using vintage linens and repurposed fabrics as they experiment and play with design. Learn how a few simple stitches can be used to create an infinite amount of embroidered artworks!

SKILL LEVEL: Beginner + above / all levels are welcome

LOCATION: Upstairs classroom

TUITION: $55 for non-members / $49.50 for current CAC members, enter code CACMEMBER at checkout to receive 10% member discount

SUPPLIES: A $10 supply fee is due to the instructor at the beginning of class

CAC REFUND POLICY: No full refunds are permitted for tuitions paid for educational programs. Participants may receive a 50% tuition credit that can be used for a future educational program at CAC. After the start of, or the day of, the educational program, no refunds or credits will be given. Should CAC cancel any educational program, all participants will receive a full refund.
