Wheel Throwing for Beginners Workshop / Jun 15
WHEN: 1-day workshop / Saturday, June 15 from 10 AM-1 PM
AGES: Adults, 18+
DESCRIPTION: Come try your hand at wheel throwing! With guidance from Maureen Duffy-Daugavietis, this workshop is geared towards the beginner student looking to explore introductory wheel techniques. Each student will work to throw a small bowl or vessel, learning the basics of centering, pulling and pushing, and shaping clay while working on the wheel. Students will complete glazing, and the Center will complete firing.
SKILL LEVEL: Beginner + above
LOCATION: Downstairs classroom
TUITION: $50 for non-members / $45 for current CAC members, enter code CACMEMBER at checkout to receive 10% member discount
SUPPLIES: All materials are provided, including glazing & firing
CAC REFUND POLICY: No full refunds are permitted for tuitions paid for educational programs. Participants may receive a 50% tuition credit that can be used for a future educational program at CAC. After the start of, or the day of, the educational program, no refunds or credits will be given. Should CAC cancel any educational program, all participants will receive a full refund.
