Teen Studio Intensive: Ceramics + Sculpture / Jun 3-7

DESCRIPTION: Study the properties of clay and learn how to become a successful ceramicist. Students will be challenged to push the boundaries of traditional ceramics and create unique, exploratory sculptures that play with form, surface decoration, and function while utilizing the hand building techniques of coil, pinch, and slab. Students will also enjoy a special wheel throwing experience while learning basic throwing processes.
CAC is featuring a series of special studio intensives just for teens, ages 13+. Each intensive focuses on a specific media and is designed to challenge students to elevate their current art skills or explore an entirely new practice, becoming a stronger artist altogether.

CAC REFUND POLICY: No full refunds are permitted for tuitions paid for educational programs. Participants may receive a 50% tuition credit that can be used for a future educational program at CAC. After the start of, or the day of, the educational program, no refunds or credits will be given. Should CAC cancel any educational program, all participants will receive a full refund.
