Summer Art Camp: Creatures of the Rainforest / Jun 24-28

Morning Session: Ages 5-9 / 8:30-11 AM
Afternoon Session: Ages 10+ / 12-2:30 PM
INSTRUCTOR: Jen Aitchison
DESCRIPTION: Learn about Rainforest animals that swing from the trees, soar through the sky, and lurk on the forest floor! Sketchbooks will be filled with technical drawings as students work to capture realistic texture, proportion, and features of each unique creature they study. Students will be inspired by famous artists John Dyer, Frida Kahlo, and Henri Rousseau as they create a final painting project filled with their very own Rainforest creatures.
CAC is offering an exciting series of youth + teen summer programming for ages 5-18 that highlight various art techniques and media, involve discussions about modern artists, and all follow a unique theme that encourages creativity and collaboration.

Please note: Tuitions are non-transferrable; students must attend the week that they are registered.

CAC REFUND POLICY: No full refunds are permitted for tuitions paid for educational programs. Participants may receive a 50% tuition credit that can be used for a future educational program at CAC. After the start of, or the day of, the educational program, no refunds or credits will be given. Should CAC cancel any educational program, all participants will receive a full refund.
