DESCRIPTION: Calling all clay creatives! Students will learn the fundamentals of working with clay as they explore hand building techniques of coil, pinch, and slab. In addition, they can enjoy a wheel throwing experience to learn basic throwing processes. Projects will be imaginative and fun as students learn to play with surface decoration, scale, and style in their unique sculptures.

CAC is offering an exciting series of youth + teen summer programming for ages 5-18 that highlight various art techniques and media, involve discussions about modern artists, and all follow a unique theme that encourages creativity and collaboration.

LOCATION: Downstairs classroom

CAC REFUND POLICY: No full refunds are permitted for tuitions paid for educational programs. Participants may receive a 50% tuition credit that can be used for a future educational program at CAC. After the start of, or the day of, the educational program, no refunds or credits will be given. Should CAC cancel any educational program, all participants will receive a full refund.
