Summer Art Camp: Local Landscapes / Jul 15-19

Morning Session: Ages 5-9 / 8:30-11 AM
Afternoon Session: Ages 10+ / 12-2:30 PM
INSTRUCTOR: Jen Aitchison
DESCRIPTION: Celebrate the ever-popular Indiana Dunes and explore the various landscapes that exist all around us! Students will discuss the local lakeshore, surrounding trees, marshes, and other parts of nature that may be spotted on hikes. With inspiration from local artist Frank Dudley and the South Shore Line poster artwork, students will create a series of landscape projects that utilize a variety of painting media including watercolor, tempera, and acrylics.
CAC is offering an exciting series of youth + teen summer programming for ages 5-18 that highlight various art techniques and media, involve discussions about modern artists, and all follow a unique theme that encourages creativity and collaboration.

Please note: Tuitions are non-transferrable; students must attend the week that they are registered.

CAC REFUND POLICY: No full refunds are permitted for tuitions paid for educational programs. Participants may receive a 50% tuition credit that can be used for a future educational program at CAC. After the start of, or the day of, the educational program, no refunds or credits will be given. Should CAC cancel any educational program, all participants will receive a full refund.
